Abstract

The study of the theological content of the liturgical texts of the Resurrectional Octoechos is of practical importance, since they are saturated with images that are difficult to perceive by ear, which often remain incomprehensible even for those who are constantly present at services.

At the same time, the significance and depth of the texts of the Octoechos are great within the framework of the Orthodox Church tradition, since they are primarily aimed at sanctifying and enlightening the human mind.
